Ladies and Gentlemen: THE BIG DADDY .

Dear Friends and Elektra: Assassin Fans,

Thanks for stopping in at my site. I sure hope you like the pictures and the content inside. My name is Neal Florine and ever since I read the eight-part mini-series by Frank Miller/Bill Sienkiewicz I fell in love with the character, the writing style, and story of Elektra: Assassin. Since that time I got caught up with life and working, as most people do, but have always wanted to pay tribute to such a great piece of artwork (verbally and visually) in more than just a casual way. So I bought the rights to this name, being surprised it hadn't been taken up yet. I'm not sure how long I will continue to own it before Marvel or Frank Miller claims it... I would be happy to hand it over to them if they asked (just reimburse my setup costs - seriously.) In the last couple of years I finally had time to start compiling pictures, and talking some beautiful girls into dressing up like Elektra (thanks Daryelle and Shari!) I am always trying to get other friends to do the same... If you or your girlfriend (HINT HINT Bettina, Marlene, Adella, Angela, Jamie, Amy) would like to do the same and submit photos, I can promise I will do my best to get them up. I can also possibly reimburse you for special boots or weapons used in the costume. Send in the receipts to the address below and I will see what I can do. Just email them to me at (neal@elektraassassin.com, or (thebigdaddyneal@yahoo.com) or mail me photos to TBD Enterprises, Inc PO Box 1055 Cedar Ridge, CA 95924.

I have nothing for sale at this site, nor am I attempting to make money in any way from the Elektra: Assassin character. Quite the reverse honestly. I am continually buying copies of the mini-series to keep in my Cadillac and give out to anyone who seems worthy or interested. I also buy up original artwork (to be displayed soon!) from the series and hope to display for free as well, if that doesn't violate any laws.

As for me, you can see by my outfit and car that I LOVE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. I am a huge fan of personal freedom and individual rights. I work mostly as a computer consultant doing interfacing work to and from SAP systems. It pays quite well, lets me travel around the country (and to Holland), but also keeps me constantly moving and away from my many great friends. My favorite author of all time is Ayn Rand, an immigrant from the Soviet Union in the early 20th century, that wrote the best novels about individual achievement, rights, and love. I also keep copies of her books in my Cadillac, so if you see me on the road, honk-wave-point and I will pull over and GLADLY give you one.

Right now (Fall 2005) I am working a ton of hours in New Jersey, outside of New York City, and plan to finish in mid-January. I could really use some time off to devote to the site, but already have new job offers and I do LOVE MONEY. At the same time I am struggling somewhat with doing what I love instead, which is writing. I mostly write short stories about my crazy, fantastic, fun-filled life but also political works as well. I guess I should get those posted as well. Lately this week I have thought about becoming a stand up comic in LA, seriously, I think I have some good stuff. I was never much of a public speaker, but working in this crazy world we have... I have collected SOOOOO MUCH material I could crack jokes about it for years. Unfortunately most of the jokes are making fun of the idiocy of people and the way they choose to live their lives in this most fantastic of free worlds. As a rule, I don't believe in putting people down or making jests of their shortcomings, but then again, if you can't laugh at yourself (I am included in the idiocy) then what is the point of living?

My favorite living writer is Neal Stephenson. I suggest anything he has written.

Also my thanks to those others involved in the comic book, I honestly have no idea what it takes to make a comic book, so my apologies if you are not adorned enough as well:

·Jim Novak - title design/letterer
·Jo Duffy - editor
·Archie Goodwin - editorial director
·Daniel Chichester - assistant editor
·Jim Shooter - consulting editor

GREAT WORK BOYZZZZZZ!!!!!!! Absolutely the best!

If any of you know, or happen to be Frank Miller and/or Bill Sienkiewicz please give them my warmest regards and thanks. If you can get their address I am happy to send them cash, checks, candy, booze or whatever (legal - haha) makes them happy. Any small token I could send would be a small measure compared to the joy in reading the masterpiece they created.

Sincerely,

Neal Florine a.k.a. The Big Daddy

RAGE!
